As AKA and Nelli Tembe’s family get ready for the memorial more details concerning her death have emerged. The body of the deceased 22-year-old has arrived in her hometown, Durban, ahead of a memorial service in her honour on Thursday.
Nelli’s body depature from Cape Town and arrival at King Shaka International Airport on Wednesday morning, accompanied by her fiancé, rapper AKA was confirmed by a source.
One of the family members who is still mourning couldn’t bear her pain and revealed how Nelli’s death made her remember the year 2014 when her mom died. She said Nelli’s mom, Lulu Msomi Tembe, died almost the same way as the young lady.
She further mentioned that the Msomi’s (the mom’s family) are mourning their death that’s after she called the two very unhappy souls. “Departed almost the same manner and very unhappy souls. I do hope she welcomed you in a warm motherly embrace!
“May you find solace in each other and peace too. The Msomi’s mourn the loss of our granddaughter… Nilale kahle zimbali zethu,” the relative who bears the Twitter handle @iNtombi_KaNkani wrote.
Condolence messages flooded her comments sections with one saying they were deeply sympathising with Nondumiso Tembe.
