Emtee did not take DJ City Lyts Tweet well. The award-winning rapper, real name Mthembeni Ndevu immediately clapped back at the DJ exposing some of the personal favors he has done for him.

“I gave you a hit and a place to stay,” said Emtee in a now-deleted tweet replying to DJ City Lyts who had tweeted that he is still waiting for Emtee to appreciate him for helping him out with Roll Up video.

“6 years later! I hope one day I’ll get a thank you for making this video possible from the drip to the launch. Ninjaz forget easily,” Tweeted City Lyts.

This Mini twar stemmed from Filmmaker Ofentse Mwase’s tweet following the Filmmaker shared that the whole trap industry was on Roll Up music video.

DJ City Lyts was surprised by Emtee’s reaction, however, he said he understands that Emtee misread his tweet.
“Hai maan guys you all know that nobody owned a place at that time, Can I please leave this bad energy alone, he misread my tweet and I said I’ve said I understand. It’s all love for me futhi Ngiyabo.”

Adding to that he said, Emtee is not the only artist that gave him hits: “May I respond on that matter please, So you saying Fifi Cooper didn’t give me a hit? B3nchMarQ did nothing? Saudi doesn’t exist on the song, my writing on the hook and ad-lib did nothing it’s just all EMtee?
