Florence Masebe is a South African Actress who began her journey in the entertainment industry back in the mid-’90s, She was born in November 1972, Florence became famous for her role as Thembi on Sabc1’s popular soapie Generations.

Currently, she is best known on sabc2’s Tshivenda soapie Muvhango, where she debuted the role of Humbulani from 2004-2009. She has starred in other local drama series including Task Force, Ikani, Sokhulu and partners, Soul City and local soapies including Scandal, 7 de Laan, Inkaba and Ring of Lie

Her recent role was in 2019 when she had the role of President Lufuno on Mzansi Magic’s Sunday night drama The Republic.

Actress has had a near-death experience, just like every other person. A tragic incident that we all wish to forget one day, her’s was very traumatizing and tragic, not only to her but to her daughter who was present when it all happenes. She believes that she is very lucky to have survived. More than 21 years ago Florence Masebe at the age of 27 was left to die after being shotb41 times at her home.

A true fighter she is indeed after surviving 41 bullets. However she has scars on her body.
