According to reports reaching iHarare, Tarryn and Clairise were paid R560 000 to perform in Kariba last year in October but failed to perform.

Tarryn and Clairise are said to have sneaked out of Zimbabwe at around 2 am and went back to South Africa without performing despite being paid all their dues. Their accommodation was also reportedly fully paid for.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police in Highlands is reportedly handling the matter.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time South African artists have breached their contracts in Zimbabwe. Earlier this year, South African entertainers DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small and Shasha drew the ire of Zimbabwe’s Victoria Falls Carnival organisers after all

three failed to attend the event.

ShaSha, Kabza De Small and Dj Maphorisa left their fans disappointed after they pulled a no-show at this year’s edition of the Victoria Falls Carnival.

DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small and Sha Sha were supposed to kick off their carnival performances with a one-hour long act but failed to turn up despite being paid in full.
