In a significant development for internet connectivity in Zimbabwe, Starlink officially extended its services to the country just minutes before midnight on Friday, September 6, 2024. This expansion follows the recent inclusion of neighboring countries Botswana and Zambia on the Starlink service map.

Starlink, known for its high-speed, low-latency broadband, offers two types of kits for users in Zimbabwe. The standard version is priced at $350, while the mini version is available for $200. Additionally, users can enjoy unlimited data for a monthly fee of $50.

Residents can now order and pay for their Starlink kits directly on the company’s website or through local distributors. This move is expected to significantly enhance internet access and connectivity across Zimbabwe, providing a much-needed boost to the country’s digital infrastructure.
