An announcement made at the 21st Zanu PF National Conference in Bulawayo, H.E. President Emmerson Mnangagwa has rejected a resolution proposing the extension of his rule to 2030. This announcement was made by Cde Patrick Chinamasa during the conference.

President Mnangagwa emphasized his commitment to the constitution, stating that he is a constitutionalist and will adhere to its provisions. The constitution currently limits each president to two terms in office.

This statement effectively dispels any rumors about the president seeking another term after fulfilling Vision 2030.
