In a recent statement, the, Secretary of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services of Zimbabwe. Nick Mangwana, addressed the helicopter crash involving the Airforce of Zimbabwe, which was transporting ZANU PF VIPs from Masvingo to Harare.
The Secretary expressed gratitude that there were no casualties resulting from the accident. He assured the public that aviation authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash and will share their findings with the nation once available.
The event, attended earlier in the day by President Emmerson Mnangagwa, did not involve the president, as he was not on board on the flightt. Witnesses reported hearing a loud explosion before the aircraft went down and mergency services immediately responded to the scene.
