There was another assassination attempt on the former President and 2024 presidential election candidate of the United States of America Donald Trump.
The incident happened on 15 September 2024 at his Golf Club at West Palm Beach in Florida, while the former president was golfing.
The suspect was armed with an AK-47 assult rifle but was intercepted by Secret Service and taken into custody.
This is the second assassination attempt nine weeks after the first one and people through various social media platforms have been criticising the Secret Service for not providing adequate protection for the US presidential candidate.
However, dispite the tragic event, Mr Trump reassured his supporters that he was “safe and well.” .
