Fans Are Disappointed With Jerusalema Hitmaker Nomcebo Zidoke.
Jerusalema star Nomcebo Zikode’s performance disappointed fans at the grand finale of season 16 of Idols SA on Sunday.
Zama Khumalo 18 years-old from Mpumalanga won the finale which was held in Pretoria at the State Theatre.
Cassper Nyovest, DJ Zinhle and Nomcebo Zikode star-studded the show with their performances.
However, Nomcebo’s performance that got the attention from everyone and not for all the good reasons. Fans were disappointed by the vocalist’s performance and said she is not a great live performer.
Others said that Nomcebo Zidoke’s sound engineer was supposed to change the song key from the studio version to one for live performances so that the performance could be better.
The musician was being accused by some viewers of lip-syncing her own song. However, not all the comments were bad. Some fans supported her in defense saying that ‘Jerusalema’ has a slow tempo and that people should not look forward to an energetic performance when the song is being played.
