A woman in Iran was gang-raped by four men in front of her husband and they were hanged.
On Monday, the four men were executed after they were found guilty by the Supreme Court in Iran.
This terrible incident happened while the couple was climbing a mountain in the Khorasan Razavi province.
Ruhollah Javidi Rad, Mohammad Sayadi Baghansgani, Mohammad Hosseini, and Mohammad Watandoost are the names of the gang who were arrested by Fariman police and they were also charged with kidnapping, rape and with threats of violence towards a man.
The four on the fateful day, are allegedly accused of tying up the man’s hands and feet together before they raped his wife in front of him.
The four accused man took turns to rape the woman as the man watched helplessly. After the sad incident, the gang left the scene and the wife untied her husband. The couple looked for the nearest police station and made a report. The gang was caight after an extensive police investigation.
After their arrest, the Criminal Court of Khorasan Razavi sent the case to the Supreme Court and they were sentenced to death by hanging in Mashhad Central Prison.
Reported by the Dailymail, Iran is recognised amongst the six countries in the world to execute people found guilty of rape, and unlike in any other country, the Iranian regime executes more people per capita.
