Police in Harare are seeking public assistance in a case involving a daring robbery that occurred at a business premises situated at the intersection of Hobbs and Plymouth Road on the 19th of April.
The incident involved a coordinated attack by a group of twelve unidentified individuals who targeted the premises. According to the police report, the suspects assaulted and overwhelmed five security guards stationed at the location before forcibly gaining access to the offices.
During the intrusion, the perpetrators made off with a CCTV server and three mobile phones. Furthermore, they utilized explosives to breach a Chubb safe, leading to the theft of a considerable sum of US$6,400 in cash.
The police are urging anyone with information relevant to this robbery to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
