Funeral arrangements for late veteran actor Menzi Ngubane are expected to be finalised later on Monday. Ngubane, who played many various leading roles in local TV dramas including Generations and Isibaya, died as he succumbed to a stroke on Saturday. He passed away at his Ladysmith Home in KwaZulu-Natal. He was 56.
The family of Ngubane, affectionately known as Sibusiso Dlomo on Generations, and Judas Ngwenya on Mzansi Magic’s Isibaya, is expected to meet later on Monday so as to finalize the funeral arrangements for the actor who was known for his illustrious tv and film career. He had over 30 years experience in the industry.
Deaths of Ngubane, Maqashalala is a double blow to SA arts industry – Mthethwa. Many were left shocked about his death, with others including prominent South Africans, members of Parliament and leaders of political parties paying tribute to him.
Naomi Mokhele, family’s spokesperson said that they were still in pain. She has confirmed that Ngubane the date of his burial will be made public soon and he will be laid to rest in Johannesburg.
