On Friday the 16th of April, Anele ‘Nelli’ Tembe’s funeral service took place at the Durban Convention Centre. It was an emotional moment for everyone as many A-list celebrities gathered to pay their respects.
AKA was overwhelmed by emotions. Never in our life have we seen AKA this lifeless and empty. Fellow Mzansi artists such as DJ Tira and Sjava showed support as they attended the funeral.

Heartbreaking pictures of Mzansi celebrities at the funeral were posted by True Love magazine on social media. The picture of Sjava hugging AKA just made tears roll out of everyone’s eyes.
