The Clive Morris Productions soapie has received a new actress as Kayise joins and will be playing the role of Nelisiwe, a woman who comes seeking to adopt a child at the House of Grace together with her husband.
Talking about her new role, Kayise Ngqula wrote on photo-sharing platform Instagram
‘So grateful for the opportunities coming my way… for a girl whose who had to rebuild from scratch, I’d say I’m not doing too badly. God definitely has me at the top of his priority list!!’
For the media personality, Kayise’s new role as Nelisiwe on the soapie is a great win who has had it really tough in the last few years. In 2019, Farai Sibanda died after sustaining injuries in a terrible car accident and the vivacious actress suffered a tragedy. Sibanda was in ICU for almost a week before he succumbed to his injuries. When the accident occured, he had been travelling with Kayise.
At the time of Sibanda’s death, the couple had just been married for less than two year and had a baby who was just eight months old?.
Unfortunately, worse was to come for the former Our Perfect Wedding presenter. Within months of Sibanda’s death, Kayise got into a bitter dispute with her brother-in-law and two of her late husband’s baby mamas over his assets.
Kayise had to file an application for protection order because the dispute was so heated. The order was against Tawanda Sibanda, her late husband’s brother and she filed it at the Randburg magistrate’s court claiming that he was harassing her and was also a danger to her life.
