Former president Jacob Zuma stated that he will serve the prison term if the Constitutional Court decide on one.

Zuma has written a 25 point statement revealing the reasons why he didn’t appear before the state capture commission.

He revealed that he’s lost trust in South African judges, including those of the Constitutional Court.

The commission’s lawyer, Advocate Tembeka Ngcukaitobi, pleaded with the Constitutional Court to give Zuma a two-year sentence, for contempt of court on Thursday.

The court reserved judgment.

On Thursday night, Zuma launched a remarkable attack on the judiciary saying “a judicial dictatorship” looks like its emerging and democratic gains will be “lost in the ashes” if people should rise up against the courts.

It seems as though, Zuma, who will soon be standing trial on charges of corruption and fraud, is threatening some form of insurrection in a rambling and incendiary statement of eight pages and 26 paragraphs that was released after 22:00 on Thursday.
