Inside AKA And Nellie’s Lobola Negotiations

Last month, Rapper AKA and his bae Nelli Tembe only got engaged and it seems the pair is more than ready to be Mr and Mrs.

SundayWorld reported that AKA’s family has already initiated lobola negotiations.

The two met in Thailand on vacation and already they have respective families finalising lobola dates. It is reported that both their fathers are on the same page regarding their love because they run in the same business circles. Nelli gets on well with Kairo and AKA is helplessly in love with her.

“They have a lot in common and love each naturally, he doesn’t have to try around her.

“When he’s with her, he becomes the best version of himself because she is easy to get along with. They get along, they’re friends”.

We are expecting the lobola to be done by end of this month since AKA has already sent a letter of intent to the Tembes.

AKA had this to say when he was asked about the latest developments: “Unfortunately I cannot talk about that because it is not culturally appropriate as each family has their own ways of doing things traditionally.”

AKA and Nelli have been very open about their relationship and did not give us surprise weddings, marriages and pregnancies.

Previously, AKA’s mom said she supported Nelli and AKA but she didn’t comment on the engagement rather she spent the day posting cryptic quotes which we hope were not lined at the lovebirds.

AKA stans have been hard at work throwing shade at his previous lovers, DJ Zinhle and Bonang ever since he announced his engagement. Zinhle and AKA broke up in 2020 and they share a daughter Kairo Forbes.
